Privacy Policy

Chadify ("we", "our", "us") is operated by La Salida. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

1. What We Collect

Photos you upload. When you use Chadify, you select photos from your device's camera roll. These photos are sent to our servers solely to generate your profile-ready images.

Profile preferences. Your quiz answers (age range, style, vibe) are stored locally on your device and sent with your generation request to personalize your results.

Purchase information. If you make a purchase, payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store your credit card number or payment details.

Device and usage data. We may collect anonymous analytics such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports to improve the product. This data is not tied to your identity.

2. How We Use Your Data

• To generate your AI-enhanced profile photos
• To personalize your photo pack based on your style preferences
• To process purchases and deliver your images
• To improve the app and fix bugs

3. Photo Storage and Deletion

Your uploaded reference photos are used only during the generation process. They are temporarily stored on our servers and automatically deleted within 48 hours of generation completing. Generated output photos are stored for 30 days so you can re-download them, after which they are permanently deleted.

4. Third-Party Services and AI Processing

Chadify does not run AI models on your device. All generative image processing happens on our backend, which forwards your reference photos to WaveSpeed for inference.

We use the following third-party services to operate Chadify:

• WaveSpeed AI (wavespeed.ai) — hosts and runs the generative image models used by Chadify. Your reference photos are transmitted to WaveSpeed for the duration of a generation job. The models currently accessed through WaveSpeed are Google Nano Banana (identity-preserving edits) and ByteDance Seedream v4.5 (retouch-forward edits).
• Supabase — secure database and object storage hosting for generation job state and reference files
• Fly.io — server hosting for our backend API
• Apple / Google — payment processing and app distribution

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or share your photos or personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

5. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data transfers between your device and our servers. Photos are transmitted and stored using industry-standard security practices.

6. Your Rights

You can request deletion of any data associated with your use of Chadify at any time by contacting us at yj@lasalida.io. Since we do not require account creation, we do not store persistent personal profiles.

7. Children's Privacy

Chadify is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the app or on this page. Continued use of Chadify after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
