Privacy Policy

Chadify ("we", "our", "us") is operated by La Salida. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it.

1. What We Collect

Photos you upload. When you use Chadify, you select photos from your device's camera roll. These photos are sent to our servers solely to generate your profile-ready images.

Profile preferences. Your quiz answers (age range, style, vibe) are stored locally on your device and sent with your generation request to personalize your results.

Purchase information. If you make a purchase, payment is processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store your credit card number or payment details.

Device and usage data. We may collect anonymous analytics such as app opens, feature usage, and crash reports to improve the product. This data is not tied to your identity.

2. Face Data

What face data we collect. Chadify does not separately scan or analyze your face to create faceprints, facial geometry, facial landmark maps, biometric identifiers, templates, embeddings, or face-recognition profiles. The only face data we receive is the face and likeness information visible in the reference photos you choose to upload and in the AI-generated output photos returned to you.

How we use face data. We use the faces visible in your uploaded reference photos solely to generate AI-enhanced dating profile photos that preserve your recognizable likeness while improving lighting, wardrobe, background, pose, composition, and retouching. We do not use face data to identify you, authenticate you, track you, train our own models, build a biometric database, advertise to you, or sell or share data for marketing.

Sharing and storage. Uploaded reference photos are sent from your device to our backend on Fly.io, temporarily stored in private Supabase object storage, and forwarded to WaveSpeed AI for generation inference. WaveSpeed runs Google Nano Banana and ByteDance Seedream v4.5 on our behalf. We do not share face data with other third parties except service providers needed to operate the app, and we do not sell or rent face data.

Retention. Uploaded reference photos are automatically deleted from Chadify storage within 48 hours after generation. WaveSpeed states that uploaded files and generated content are automatically deleted after 7 days. Chadify stores generated output links and job records for up to 30 days so you can access your results while provider links remain available, after which output links are purged from Chadify systems. You can request earlier deletion by contacting yj@lasalida.io.

Chadify stores generated output links and job records for up to 30 days so you can access your results while provider links remain available, after which output links are purged from Chadify systems.

5. Third-Party Services and AI Processing

Chadify does not run AI models on your device. All generative image processing happens on our backend, which forwards your reference photos to WaveSpeed for inference.

These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or share your photos or personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

6. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption for all data transfers between your device and our servers. Photos are transmitted and stored using industry-standard security practices.

7. Your Rights

You can request deletion of any data associated with your use of Chadify at any time by contacting us at yj@lasalida.io. Since we do not require account creation, we do not store persistent personal profiles.

8. Children's Privacy

Chadify is not intended for users under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify users through the app or on this page. Continued use of Chadify after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
